2019 PNDC Program

Each year, I was tasked with creating a show look for the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference, the WSDA’s annual continuing education event. With around 5,000 attendees a year, it’s the biggest dental conference in Washington state, and one of the largest in the Western US. For 2019, I went for a clean, spare, youthful look utilizing a series of duotone images.

For 2017, I wanted something to accompany the images I typically used to promote the show. Using brightly colored, vaguely “molecularish” renderings to appeal to the scientist side of the dental community, the show look worked well across all platforms. Photography in the book by the ever amazing Scott Eklund/Red Box Pictures.

2012 PNDC Program

An oldie, but a goodie! For the 125th anniversary of the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference Official Program (the “OP”) I enlisted my friend and crazy-good digital artist Marc Tobin to reimagine “Space Age Pioneer Dentist Wes Day” (Get it? Wes Day…WSDA?) as a dentist for the ages. With a disco ball and mutton chops, no less. People dug it.
